Coutinho's Journey To The Top



The full name is Philippe Coutinho Correia ,born 12 June 1992 in Rio de Janeiro he's the third and youngest son of Esmerelda Coutinho and architect José Carlos Correia.

Origin
He was raised in Rio's northern Rocha district between an old shanty town and industrial warehouses,as a child, he followed his elder brothers Cristiano and Leandro to a local concrete football pitch, where he first began playing futsal.
Best Friends
The first friend coutinho had in the field of football was Neymar JR as they played together for Brazil's under 16 years ,10 years ago in 2008.
"Because of our style of play, which is similar, we started to connect very well. We had lots of fun."said Coutinho about his friendship with Neymar.

Firmino also has been a good friend of Coutinho , thier bond got stronger while they were playing in Liverpool .After Coutinho left Liverpool , Firmino wrote a post on instagram admitted that he would sorely miss his fellow compatriot at Anfield.
“Liverpool is no longer the same without you my magical brother,” he said.

CareerCoutinho went to 4 clubs before setteling down in Barcelona .

♦Vasco da Gama
Coutinho signed up for Vasco da Gama's youth system . Coutinho remained at Vasco on loan for two years as foreigner footballers were prohibited from playing professional football in Italy until they reach age 18, and became a regular first team player despite his young age. In 2009, he helped Vasco win the Série B title and achieve promotion. In 2010, he scored 5 goals in all competitions as he established himself as a key first-team player.

♦Inter Milan
In July 2008, at age 16, he was purchased by Italian giants Inter Milan for €4 million,but he didn't play for Milan until he was 18 as the law prevents the foreigner players to start playing until they're 18 .


♦Espanyol
He joined La Liga club Espanyol on loan until the end of the season as Coutinho struggled to establish himself in Inter's first team during the 2011/2012 season .


Liverpool 
On 26 January 2013, Premier League club Liverpool agreed an £8.5 million transfer fee with Inter Milan for Coutinho

♦Barcelona
 Liverpool confirmed they had reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Coutinho on 6 January 2018,His transfer fee was reported to be an initial £105 million, which could rise to £142 million with various clauses being met.
